Organic SEO Techniques for Long Term Results

Search Engine Optimization is really important for promoting your work or business online. The webpage you have created for whatever the purpose may be, can be the leading authority of your work, and thus really important to be a top fetch on search engines, when internet users look up for things or services that your website can cater, and for that a number of things should always be kept in mind.
You can always begin with using a strong URL for your website. This can be done by ensuring that your webpage URL consists of a keyword mentioned on your page. Other than the URL, you should also have a healthy keyword density. It is important that you have qualitative keywords throughout your content, but always remember not to have too many keywords, which can cause problems on search engines such as Google Inc.
Call to Action does not seem relevant for SEO purposes, but it surely is. Simply by adding a ‘Call Now’, ‘Buy Now’ or a similar CTA button would take the viewer another step into your website, and this gives you a better rating from the search engine’s perspective. So, always consider adding a Call to Action on your page to increase popularity on search engines.
Further, social media interactions are also appreciated by search engines. Always create social media profiles of your organization and post links on your website. This creates a general sense of personal touch within the viewers and they always strive to know more, resulting in more visits and clicks on your website, and subsequently a better rating. Adding videos increase the time a visitor stays on your page, resulting in excellent analytics and thus, better search engine results. Adding a YouTube video to your page would automatically increase your popularity with Google, as they provide direct video links too.
Search engines generally do not read images, and do not provide results for images by searching images. What they do is, provide a search result of images best on the name of images. For instance, if the user searches for ‘Tom Cruise’ on Google Images, any images on your website named ‘tomcruise.jpg’ or similar would most likely be included. In addition to image names, alternative tags can be placed behind the images you put up on your web page and that are also included in the search engine image results.
Always be sure that you have included a robots.txt file on the root directory. This has an important standing in giving directions to the search engines. Such a robots.txt file helps the search engine to determine about the directories that can be crawled, and those that cannot be. It is important that your file should have a current status so that it does not end up blocking the Googlebot crawler or similar for other search engines.
With a few simple steps, you can ensure a better SEO of your website, for free. You may not yield top priority results, but would surely increase your popularity with the search engines, and that too, on a permanent basis.
